A wide range of factors have been taken into account in deciding the competition dates of the 2011 Championships. These factors include the dates of previous Championships, as well as other major international events. Other factors include the season/weather in Korea and time-zone differences.

We hope to provide spectators and television audiences with a conducive environment to experience the Championships.
