Daegu International Airport has international flight operations to and from the cities of Bangkok, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenyang, Qungdao as well as other major cities around the world.
With regard to domestic flights, the airport also operates two round-trip flights to Seoul and 8 round-trip flights to Jeju Island daily.

The Korea Train Express is, as the name suggests, an express train service that connects Seoul, the capital of Korea, with other major cities in Korea. The KTX is fast, safe, comfortable and eco-friendly. On average, the KTX travels at approximately 300km/h.
With the KTX, it only takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes between Seoul and Dongdaegu Station. To meet the growing demand for convenience and efficiency, this service operates 50 times a day at 15-minute intervals.

Saemaeul Line operates between Dongdaegu and Seoul 17 times a day from 5:55 AM at 30-minute intervals and takes 3 hours 40 minutes. The Mugunghwa Line takes about 30 minutes longer than Saemaeul Line and operates 23 times a day between Dongdaegu and Seoul.
