The Organizing Committee (LOC) for the 2011 IAAF World Championships in Athletics is making preparations to
undertake the ‘IAAF Green Project’, which is aimed at promoting the world’s premiere athletics championships
in the most environmentally sustainable setting.

The noble IAAF project was first initiated at the 2007 IAAF World Championships in Athletics in Osaka, and will
feature again at the 2009 IAAF World Championships in Athletics in Berlin.

the IAAF World Championships in Athletics under the lowest environmental impact.
