• Athletes run in their respective lanes for the first 120m before converging into Lane 1

Athletes negotiate over 28 hurdles and seven water jumps
Athletes leap over 10 hurdles in the final 110m of the track

Athletes leap over 10 hurdles in the final 100m of the track
• Height of hurdle: 84.0cm
• Distance between hurdles: 8.5m
Athletes leap over 10 hurdles, covering one lap of the track
• Height of hurdle: 91.4cm (Men), 76.2cm (Women)
• Distance between hurdles: 35m
Four athletes will form a team and each athlete will run a 100m relay leg. A baton will be passed from one athlete to another.
